The Legend
It is said the sword and shield were forged from the corpse of the great and ancient dragon Lothos. Though it is unknown whom the dragon slayer was, thier properites and story has lived on through the generations.
![]() | Emerald Shield With it's edge made of a light and strong slab of iron, wrapped at the hilt with a durable dragon skin, and lined with an aesthetically pleasing emerald green it is an excellent sword. When combined with it's magically imbuled properties the sword becomes a heroine's greatest ally. The sword, just as it's counter part shield, is able to absorb the energy of the living earth around it's user. When activated, the orb above the hilt begins to glow with an irridesent green before embalming the entire blade in a deep firey green. When the spell is in effect, the sword's beholder has the choice to heal or destroy. If to heal, it must be held gently over the top of the wound for a period of time. The time can vary depending on the the severity of the wound. If to destroy, the sword will both slice and light its target in an un-natural green flame. However, unlike it's shield counter-part, there is a heavy penalty to this all. Should the sword absorb malignant or evil earth the sword will glow a deep black (evil) and have but only the choice to kill. Should the sword absorb heavenly or good earth the sword will glow a bright white-yellow (good) and have but only the choice to heal. [Note: most of the earth is netural, so it is generally the users choice, unless on very holy or evil ground.]

![]() | Emerald Shield Made of a light, strong, and durable ceramic, the shield is formitable defense and aid to any wood elf. Just as this shield was made for wood elf in general, it too has been personally imbuled and modified from its very day of creation to serve an additional purpose, just as the sword. The shield is able to absorb the energy of the living earth around it's user. When activated, the orb begins to glow an irridesent green as the energy flows into the center and edges of the shiled. The eventual effect is an even stronger, more durable, and offensive spell resistant shield. It is not succeptable to the same issues as the sword, however, it does become slightly heavier while the spell is in effect. |
